Interfaith Youth Coalition on AIDS in Myanmar (IYCA-Myanmar)


Interfaith Youth Coalition on AIDS in Myanmar (IYCA – MYANMAR) was formed by 7 youth from different religious backgrounds in December 2006. Our vision is to establish a healthy, peaceful and prosperous interfaith community in Myanmar. We are preventing HIV transmission among youth and empowering them with life-skills in order to secure healthy, peaceful and prosperous life, to value co-existence of different religions and cultures.

Main Goal of our organization is “Mitigating the effects of HIV/AIDS among interfaith youth and to promote healthy, prosperous and co-existing atmosphere among them by using interfaith networks in Myanmar”.

Since 2006, we are addressing to reach our vision by our goal and objectives. We have more than 15,000 members around the country and about 150 members are actively involving to reach our objectives by implementing our activities.
